Serving our beloved local dish, chicken rice. Encik Heng is located in the West, near Jurong East MRT station. All Westies rejoice!
You’ll find chicken rice in all its variants at Encik Heng. Beyond the usual Hainanese-style, served in sets (comes with rice and soup) for one ($4.50), two ($12), and three ($15), the value-for-money eatery also serves sesame chicken ($5) and lemon chicken ($4.50) atop fragrant rice. Most mains come well under $5, including other local favorites such as char siew, roasted pork, and smoked duck – served either with rice or noodles.
